Hannah Emmett is an Illustrator from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She moved all the way across the continent to attend San Francisco’s Academy of Art University, graduating in December 2014 with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration. While in San Francisco, she interned for an apparel and home decor company called FluffyCo, learning the ins and outs of how a small artistic business operates. She also volunteered at Gauntlet Gallery, working both behind the scenes and in the main gallery. Her most exciting venture was at Old Navy/Gap Inc., where she worked for a year after graduation, taking on the role of Design Coordinator for the Men’s Design Team. Hannah worked on illustrative tasks such as men’s figure drawings, as well as creating print and pattern for apparel to be sold in store.
Hannah is now back in her hometown, working as a Freelance Illustrator. She enjoys working in traditional mediums such as graphite, ink, oil and watercolour. She also loves working digitally in the Adobe Creative Cloud programs, Illustrator CC being her favourite. She is interested in greeting cards, editorial work, as well as apparel design. That being said, she is very open minded about new kinds of work. Hannah is ready to take on more artistic endeavours, so if you like her work, please contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
